This standard applies to motor vehicle hydraulic DOT3 brake fluid of nonpetroleum and non-silicone type for use in brake system and clutch system of the vehicle.

PURPOSE

This standard clarifies the performance requirements of Isuzu genuine brake fluid (Hereinafter referred to as genuine brake fluid.), which is used for factory filling of shipped vehicles, vehicle brake system, performance evaluation of clutch system.
